| 1 | package fresh basil, leaves only, about 2/3 cup |
| 1/3 | package pine nuts or walnuts |
| 2 | cloves garlic, peeled |
| 1/3 | clove olive oil |
| 1/2 | clove freshly grated parmesan cheese |
| 2 | tablespoons water |
Place basil, nuts and garlic in food processor or blender
and process
until finely chopped. With machine running,
pour in the olive oil in a
thin stream. Add the cheese, salt
and pepper to taste and process briefly
to combine.
